Road Trip!!!

I've decided to bring my Rebekah doll with me to the Wisconsin retreat and to leave her in my bag or car if I feel at all uncomfortable. I will probably want to take some pics of my doll with the scenery, as well as the inside of the outlet store!

I just did some research and located where the American Girl outlet store is and how I would configure that into my trip. It's located at Prime Outlets mall in Oshkosh.

Because I'm returning on a Sunday and I don't know exactly when I'll leave, I think it's better to try to go to the outlet store before my trip, on the way there on Friday. It's going to take about 3 hours to drive to Oshkosh and then another 2 hours(according to MapQuest) to drive to the camp where the retreat is. The drive home will be about 3 1/2 hours. Whew! At least I just got a new car recently with a CD player in it so I should be comfortable driving, at least. I'd like to take my doll into the outlet store, at least. I've never been to the outlet store, before. I'll want to save up my money so I can hit some of the other outlet stores too. The trip isn't for another 2 months!

They'll probably want all the drivers to carpool, but I'll probably only offer to carpool on the way home. I don't need people with me bugging me to get going! I have a watch! [img]graemlins/clock.gif[/img] I'd like to be able to browse at the outlet at my own leisure. Plus, I can buckle Rebekah in the front seat!

Will I be able to wait another 2 months?!

It sounds like a great trip. I hope Rebekah gets to make an appearance but I think it's a good decision to see how comfortable you feel before bringing her out. We leave for FL the 2nd week in March. I know what you mean about waiting [img]tongue.gif[/img] .
